Yes-a good honest engine. We have discussed this one in the past-almost ad nauseam-probably mixed up with the various Modela/MVVS 1.5 threads. I have this model in both diesel and glow versions. its just a general purpose cooking motor-like an Enya or OS Max 15.

The 15 LA might just be a general purpose cooking motor but if you think that the OS Max 15111, the 15 IV or the 15 FP were just general purpose cooking motors, you're not using them correctly.....LOL

By current standards...........fredo, by current standards..........and by the way-no such thing as a 15-IV in the OS range-the final model was simply the 'Max-15'

AMB, try the search function. These engines are very nice and have also been discussed plentiful around here before. 2cc is indeed a .12 size, and they have a much more modern design compared to the 1.5cc engines. The 2cc are schneurle ported with a boost port (which looks like three), and they also came in glow head versions. Mine spins a 9x5 prop at around 10500rpm (this is quite a lot stronger than the Enya .11CX D) and it will also run well on 8x5 props but I haven't tried anything smaller than that.

Chris and Mr Cox thx for info no need to go any further on this one ( at least for me ) a 9x5 at 10.5K all I need to know will treat and fuel as any other plain bearing engine
Mr Cox comparison with the Enya 11 interesting since I got 9500 with a 9x4 ,its new and may pick up maybe an other 500 when run in
have a good selection of engines in the range of 09 to 12s all diesel or conversions OS 10s TT10s the 09 is Sharma not a convert along with the APs
