Default AP hornet 09 conversion

OK guys decided to pull off the shelf and do a rerun, not a powerhouse Davis ABC fuel it is a twin BB and ABC first prop wood zinger 8x5 9400 with a lilttle tweek on needle 9700
then on with 8x4 wood zinger after the pix we did get up to 11700 after backing off compression about a 1/4 turn a surprise down to 3500 on idle and instant pickup plenty of dark oil out that little round exhaust
this had a date on head AJC 2004 it is very quiet

Martin,

Here's mine & in current form, it is a bit of a powerhouse.

7X4 Taipan prop, no muffler. Fuel Olly brew. - 20% Castor, 30% Ether & 50% Kero - add 1.4%IPN.

I haven't tached it but pulls the 1/2A Combat wing almost as quick as my mates Fora.

Well looks like it can be a screamer or slugger dependent on set up
It also appears may be out of production could not find a listing of who sells them martin
I still have an other NIB factory issue glow well made and they were not a lot of bucks maybe $60 tops from, Hobby people in California

I have 3, 2 are diesel, conversions I did send one back poor compression, they replaced it,

AFAIK the head & venturi were made by Lance Smith. A Melbourne based Kiwi Team Racer who unfortunately passed away about a year ago.. The venturi was clever in that it utilised the mixture adjustment from the RC carb. However it is a bit vulnerable on landing.
