Here are some ST tests including some .15's and .19s, it may not be of much help beyond being of interest to ST enthusiasts.

Oh dear Recycled old chap!
One of the old dears over on the Vintage Glow Engine thread on RCGroups really has his kickers in a knot over our stubborn refusal to immediately accept his brilliant insights into the possibility of the existence of a diesel ST G20/19.

At the moment, the evidence in favour of the existence of this claimed engine is zero, nothing at all.
The "possibility of existence" is applicable to any wild statement under the sun, and in terms of reality, is meaningless.
As we'll never prove non-existence, you can make all the witty remarks you like but, for me, unless some substantiated evidence comes up, it's on the same level as UFOs and little green men from Mars.
Again, I apologise for the reasoning and lack of wit on my part...

I have the G20 .15 in that removable front housing version as well as a G21 .35 (rear BB, front bushing). I believe my .15 has non-metallic BB's.
If I remember correctly, that .15 was replaced by the "Jubilee" version, then in 1960 by another version. The last two had one-piece crank cases. I do not have a "Jubilee" but here are pictures of the 1960 glow and diesel G20 .15's:

I have a question about the .15 shown with the .35. It is a G20 but was apparently produced after 1956 and before 1960. I bought it used from a friend in ~1958 if memory serves. Anyone know for sure when this version was produced. One thing I remember is that they have non-metallic BB's...perhaps phenolic?
Apologies for asking this in the .19 diesel thread but I had previously inserted the appropriate pictures in this thread.

George, I didn't respond before because I don't really have specialist Super Tigre knowledge, but what you've written corresponds exactly to my own thoughts.
i.e. the G20/15s you showed are the Giubileo model which, I think, just corresponds to a certain period of production, but I'm not really sure and, as you say, how can we tell which are and which aren't?
We really need some contemporary ST documentation. I have some somewhere...
Also, the vertical intake G20 and G21 that you show, with the "V" on the transfer and separate front housings, are indeed "late fifties". There were earlier "mid fifties" versions that were very similar but with no "V" on the transfer. These were the G20S and the corresponding G21 engines.

Yeah, the G20/15D RC was still on sale "mid-seventies" 'cos I bought one!
IIRC Super Tigre started phasing out the G20 when the G15 was released, but the G15 Diesel was generally considered to be not as good as the older G20/15D so, after a period of hesitation, the G20/15D (and glow) became available again, plain carb and RC, particularly as, during the 70's, the 15 glow had become the favourite FAI combat engine in Europe.
I've had several G15 diesels (still have one), and I prefer the G20/15D, particularly the "1965" crankcase version.
I'm still doubtful about the engine on sale that started this thread, but it's just a sort of "gut feeling" on my part, nothing that I can substantiate or argue about!
