Default New R/C Diesel range

There's a report on the Barton c/l page about a new range of UK produced diesel converted engines suitable for r/c aircraft.

Website at: https://www.westonuk.co.uk/Ed-By-West-/

I have seen that website but it looks so outdated, didn't think that West engines where still being made...?

Default WestonUK

Yes, they do sell.

i bought an ED Super Hunter from them a couple of months ago.

A new range of multi purpose diesels are available.

Options for each engine:

1. R/C throttle or standard C/L venturi

2. Ported for speed or torque

3. Standard muffler, mini pipe or exhaust manifold.

Some of them look like Webra crank cases.

Alan at Weston contracts making parts out. Some are made in former eastern bloc countries. Crankcases are a development of the Webra Speed series.

Have you bought one Ray?

No, I have too many engines already. :-)

I found an Irvine 25 throttle assembly, the Elfin and a box. I'll check with my club member friends after Xmas to see if we can improve on it's handstarting.
