RE: Videos of my 40LA diesel
No problem we will send you wrenches with your next order at no charge, as for Mr. Cox's comments they are correct as most of the people on this forum have way more issues with their engines which are mostly one speed and consider using an r/c 46 a very big engine.that works pretty well all things considered. As for hand starting is an art form and is all in th e wrist and thus tkes practice. Remember people use to crank over their car to start them way back before the electric starter.

Hand cranking isnt that far back, my first car was a 1952 Ford Prefect (new to me in 1970) the battery was weak and wouldnt start it first of each day so I hand cranked it for 6months befor being able to aford a new battery.

G'day
Here is a novel way to start an aircraft engine.
1. Crank start the T Model (in the usual way)
2. Engage the dog on the starter thingy to your aircraft engine
3. Start your aircraft engine
If aircraft model gas engines get much bigger, we may see small versions of this at our model fields.
As for hand starting - I have been crank starting my old Land Rovers for years. Even in the snow. And once you own a few Super Tigre G20 Diesels, you either become very good at hand starting or you loose a lot of fingers.

Pat, back to one of your earlier comments about the SuperTigre .51 conversion, you'll love it. Please don't take these gentlemens comments the wrong way, they and I are just trying to make this easy for you as we've all pretty much tried the things that don't work. I tried some fuel mixing my self and threw up my hands now only use Bob's fuel because I know it works every single time.
