I've been toying around with micros for a while now. They are fun, but I need more. I bought an Exceed G2 R2 6 channel (before I read around that a 4 channel would be better for me) and frankly its hard, but still fun. Was wondreing if anyone had any good resources on helis in general.

Also, what is a good 6 channel SIM controller? I downloaded FMS and it works, but its only on the keyboard and that is kind of pointless. Just looking for a recommendation for a good controller.

Also, the documentation that came with my heli is nearly useless. It makes no real mention to what half the buttons/switches do on the controller and was hoping for some links to better documentation for my radio controller. If you want a really good fly sim. I would recommand you buy it from a local hobby store.

I ended up getting the RealFlight G5.5 sim. Loving it so far. Its exactly what I was looking for. I'm probably going to end up returning my Exceed and getting a different heli in a few months maybe. Getting the heli in the air isn't too tough, but getting the coordination down for when the nose isn't facing away from you I need to practice. I've gotten down not crashing it, but still at times I get backwards and bam, right in the ground. I get a couple hours of sim time in mostly focusing on getting the direction controls better.

I also did go to a hobby shop. I don't live close to one (but will soon, moving soon) but decided to make the trip over there. It was well worth the trip. Lots of knowledgable guys over there.
