Falcon 40 brushless?
Hi all...I'm new to rc heli and recently purchased a Falcon 40. With a little over 4 days flying time, I am finding this heli to be progressively easier to fly. I saw a video on you tube where the guy had a brushless motor and carbon blades. Does anyone know where I could get this kind of set-up? Also, what would this set-up consist of? Any help would be great thanks!

RE: Falcon 40 brushless?
well welcome to RCU =)
the carbon blades are probably not worth it for this heli since they run about 60 or 70 bucks because they are FP
As far as the brushless, I just posted it a few pages ago in the falcon 40 thread, it runs about 90 bucks for the setup you'll need.

RE: Falcon 40 brushless?
just to let you know , the carbon blades for the hummingbird are on sale for 10.00 (long version ONLY out of stock/discontinued of the "stock"size) i allready have two sets and the fit the falcon perfectly. just ordered another 2 sets last night. for 10 dollars they are awesome. but you will need a faster motor, or go to lipo batteries. less lift, faster head speed. stables out the heli somewhat decently due to added gyroscopic effect of headspeed.

dont expect them to last long, the first run didnt.
