Default TX DIP settings???

Help Andy!

My grandson reset all the dip switches on my Raptor G2's xmitter!

What are the stock settings?

Which ones allow setting the pitch and throttle settings? What are the stock throttle and pitch settings???

I think mine are off because as soon as I get the 50% throttle, the motor bogs down really fast, even though I checkd the blade pitch..?

The xmitter has V1 and V2? What are they used for (I know, dumb question)...

Thanks!

Default RE: TX DIP settings???

2,4,6,7 are ON
rest are OFF

dip #10 are used to adjust the pitch setting. if you want to adjust that put #10 ON and use v2 to adjust.
remember in normal mode, low stick is 0 pitch and center stick is about 5 to 6 pitch.

Default RE: TX DIP settings???

Thanks Andy! The G2 flies really sweet now!!!

More questions for you -

1. Would you recommend replacing/upgrading the servos? Would this make a difference?

2. I noticed once or twice while flying, that the pitch would "spike" briefly for a second, causing the heli to shoot straight up 5-7 feet before dropping back down to its original altitude - whats happening?

3. I had an old lipo battery that a buddy gave me. I used it once, connected it to my balance charger, and it swelled up like a balloon! Did I do something wrong? [:@] [:@]

4. Is it possible/recommended to discharge lipo batts?

5. I'm running a 9T pinion with an Align 430XL brushless motor, with ~20 min run times. Would there be a benefit (flight performance, etc) if I went to a 10T? 11T?

THANKS!!!

Default RE: TX DIP settings???

1. If you want you can upgrade those servo to HS55 from hitec and they are much durable

2.Check interference. Try at another location that's couple miles away and see if you can produce the same behavior.

3. do not use that battery anymore because once it balloned it can catch fire so go to jefflube and recycle it. I think the battery was damaged prior to charging.

4. you don't need to discharge a lipo just make sure each cell do not fall below 3.0V

5. the upgrade package i recommend for the G2 uses 13T 450 out runner so i recommend 13T
