    New G2 battery too big

I got my new G2 yesterday from xheli. My canopy is cracked at the top and it came with a 2200mAh battery that is too big to fit in the heli. The esc is where the battery should go and even if it wasn't there isnt enough room for the battery to go in without hitting the canopy. Is it ok to put the battery underneath the heli?

then you must have g2 special edition. For SE you must mount the battery underneath the frame between the landing gear.

I mounted my ESC under the frame and my battery (1800maH), although it does not fit inside the frame, I use velcro and a rubber band to hold the battery in place on the edge of the frame. Plus, the CG is right on!
