Default Adjusting tail servo on a Raptor G2

I ordered a better servo for my tail and was wondering if I center the servo should the tail blades have zero pitch when the servo is at 90 degrees. I will hook the servo up to another receiver and take the gyro out of play so I know that it is for sure at center. The factory servo broke a tooth and I dont know of any servo dentists (cheesy but lol) so i got a different one. This is actually a family members heli but he doesnt have a computer. We are both still learning the setup process. Hopefully the servo will be here tomorrow. Thanks.

Yes you method is correct. fold the tail blades together and eyeball it and that's 0 pitch. At 0 pitch the slider should be near center.
