Low Hover
Hey Andy,
I crashed my g2 and broke some linkeages .... replaced and eyeballed the tracking .... my heli winds up without vibration but then hovers only about 3-4 inches above the ground. See some definate vibration due to the force of the lift.... i'm thinking that my pitch is off due to replacing those parts. Blade tracking isn't 100%either. Paddle is a little bent.
I don't have a pitch gauge. Besides eyeballing my pitch and fixing the paddle... anything else Ican do to get my heli's lift back to normal?
Got a ful mechanics and carpenters toolset.
Thanks

RE: Low Hover
You can adjust the linkages on the heli to give your a more positive pitch so you get more lift. The linkage i'm talking about the linkage on the pitch servo. There is a set screw that connect the innner shaft to the pitch slider. You can loosen that up and push the innner shaft up a little so it give your more positive pitch.
