Default Raidentech, Nitrorcx or Redcat Racing

I would suggest that you all buy your parts from [link=http://www.redcatracing.com/]RedCat Racing[/link] or at least use them as a reference. They have the best pics for their parts and the best descriptions. If you look at the ESC (stock) on their site, it actually tells you the turns that it is. The other 2 don't.

vehicle comparison (Electric) 1/10

Exceed Dynamite
RedCat Volcano

Exceed Sunfire
RedCat Tornado

Exceed Mustan
RedCat Tsunami

Exceed Champion
RedCat Lightning

vehicle comparison (Gas) 1/8

Exceed Titan
RedCat Avalanche

Exceed Razor
RedCat Hurricane

OMG! That sounds so promising. My first order had $28 dollars of duty and my first part order cost me about $26 of duty. This would be awesome if he could help me out. [email protected]

my order came in from Raidentech today... Okay, so everything was in the box but they changed a couple of things by mistake... I think... I hope... I told them that they have multiple parts that fit every or mostly all of their cars or that is how it is shown on the their site. They still sent the order as is and told me not to worry about it.

THIS IS WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO PUT PARTS FOR EACH CAR ON ITS OWN PAGE. GREEN shocks SHOULD have a different part number from the BLACK ones.

The tires and shocks (that just came) are green and I have the Sava Blue truck. Now I have to buy 2 more green shocks and tires to match and plus a green shell. We'll see

Yah. I'm liking my purchase so far. I don't think I would pay the full price listed on the site but I would pay a little bit more for what I got. I had planned on modding this thing up anyway so the *possibly* blown ESC was no biggie, just happened pretty quickly. Today I had some time to play with it in some suprisingly nice weather for mid Jan here in NC. Last night I made sure to drain the batteries completely by running the trucks wheels til they could barely spin (is there a better way to drain batteries completely?) because of a forum thread I saw about getting a 'good charge' as opposed to a quick messy one. I first ran through 2 batteries around the yard. Sadly I couldn't find a damn thing to use as a jump so I dunno how it flies, if it can even jump that well to begin with. I lost a body clip changing batteries already, and lost another one tonight showing it off to co-workers. That was fun, flipped it a few times on the asphalt, no damage. Got ready for work and charged up the batteries again, even the crappy one that came with the truck. I left for work 2 hours early to pick up some AA's and hit up the local hobby shop, which sadly has shut down due to lack of business. I brought the truck in case I saw an area to play in. I found one with a little hill of soft dirt and drained 2 batteries there.

When I was changing out the 1st batt. for the 2nd batt. I noticed there was a clicking coming from the rear somewhere. I shook the truck around to get the little rocks out. Still clicked a bit at first and the right rear tire locked up for a few minutes, but after patting and blowing dust out of the rear end, it stopped ticking. No parts seemed loose. The tires seem a tad loose but I think thats normal. I had fun. Have no idea how long the batteries lasted, maybe 20mins each.

I'm quite sure EP will soon bore me and I'll get a nitro truck to fill that void. Until then though upgrading this is relatively inexpensive and I hope with a new motor this thing will be 2x better. Thats what I'm aiming for at least. The motor now doesn't have the guts to do proper donuts but it is definately fun. I ordered mine from Nitrorcx.com and I'm happy with it!
