Default body shells

They should go on easy, correct? The one I received has to be pulled with quite some force to be put on the car, and it bends the shock towers, which is what it was doing out of the box.

sounds like either the holes are not drilled on the body correct or something on the car is bent. a picture is worth a thousand words bro, post a picture

how could someone fit it on there without thinking something is wrong? I think they pulled a random model off the shelf, took off the top, and stuck on a new shell, with misplaced holes.

The holes are misplaced...

i was a little confused by your other posts, you said you ordered the mutant (truggy right) and they sent you a car?

I use car as a general term, sorry. I used the stock pics and the holes look to be about 1/4 in too short, as in they aren't forward enough in the front, compared to the photos I saw online. If I was to make my own holes, it would be one big oval shape... Yeah, I ordered the truggy, they sent the ATV configuration chassis and the single speed shell for the Mustang.

Heh, the front end is wrong too. The mustang is the single speed mutant variant.

I took some pictures of the shell. The holes look about an inch too far back. Are the holes different on this other model?

I couldn't figure out who you were talking to because I just updated my avatar with a picture of my truck. Then I looked at his pics again closely... and I think you are right.

the body was on. I had to pull with some force to get it on, but took it off again quickly when I saw it bending the shock towers.
No, it says RTR SuperPower.
Oh yeah. is the antenna hole supposed to be in the very top center? seems odd to me.

Yeah... gotta cut holes myself. I hope Andy can get my parts sent out next week. Had to raise the posts so the body would fit on with the ATV bumper.
Yeah, this body is for the electric.
And I think today might be the maiden voyage, if all goes to plan.
