Tornado problem
I have a exceed rc tornado and all has been well for the most part since i bought it. But today I went to use it, and when i go forward it sort of just jerks forward but doesn't go forward normally. It can go in reverse fine though, but when i go forward it just jerks. I got it to run normal for about 15 seconds a few times but after 10-15 seconds it starts doing it again. What could the problem be?

connect the motor directly to the battery and let it run dry. charge it again and leave it in the charge for 6 hours. I think your battery needs a good charge.

RE: Tornado problem
Sorry it's taken so long to reply, I tried what you said and took out the motor, hooked it up to the battery and it ran about 20 minutes until it was dead. I then put it on the charger and left it on for 6 hours. Ran the car and the same exact thing is happening, it just goes forward in small bursts then stops, but it will go in reverse and steer fine. What could be the problem? I'm thinking it's the ESC.

RE: Tornado problem
I have a slight problem with my tornado bb..
Recently I took off the engine on a regular tornado, and put it on a Ready To Modify tornado bb... My issue is that when I give the car high speed the back right of the car (where the engine is) jumps up a bit, and it acts like there is extra weight on that side. When I turn the car, it bottoms out where the engine is and the car spins around. Does anyone know what the problem is, or know how to fix it? I first thought it was a bad spring on that side, so I replaced it, and still the same problem.
When this engine was on the regualr tornado it never did this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

RE: Tornado problem
Ok...hopefully in simplier terms:
When I give the car gas, the passenger side of the car wants to bottom out as if there is significant weight just on that side. Especially when I turn the car it wants to flip over when when at higher throttle. I have taken the engine off and re-aligned it and still same issue.
The car is brand new, the engine is not. The engine is from a TORNADO, and i put it on a TORNADO BB. I dont know if the engine is too heavy for it, or what it is.

RE: Tornado problem
thats really weird, i get what your saying but i dont see how its doing that. the only reason i could see it doing that is cause the spring is bad, but you replaced it. can you get some video?

RE: Tornado problem
have you try to adjust the trottle trim and give it more forward? if you turn forward trim all the way your car will not idle but move forward slowly. let me know your results and order number as well.

Yes, I know how the trim works, I don't think thats the problem because it will work for 10 seconds sometimes and then start the jerking again.
