.16 Nitro Buggy What Parts?
Ok I have my .16 in transit. I have a couple extra bucks and wanted to know what parts I SHOULD stock up on. I would hate to break down and not be able to fix it right away. So what do you guys think I should order in? Spur Gears, Shock Towers, A-Arms, Tie-Rods, DogBones? Whatever you guys have broken more often. Thanks, Joe
Also if you could throw me a part number that would be cool.

RE: .16 Nitro Buggy What Parts?
Update on Buggy status. I ordered two new servo's. 1 Traxxas 2056 Water Proof servo 80oz Torque and 1 Traxxas 2075 Water Proof servo 125oz Torque. I think I'll use the 125oz on the steering and the 80oz on the throttle. Should work out super nice. Plus I ordered another Futaba R153F Receiver and Ofna Fail Safe. Can't go wrong with that. But I still haven't heard back from you guys on what extras I should order to have on hand. Has anyone ordered from Nitrorcx.com lately? Wanted to know if they been shipping the right parts and if it's been in a timly manner.

RE: .16 Nitro Buggy What Parts?
Thanks I figured that. I just can't stand how there web site is set-up. They mislabel alot of there parts and leave no description to what it's for. They shouldn't have parts for the two-speed mixed in with parts for the single speed. I understand they are the same buggy but is it really that hard to make two different pages for parts listings? Hahaha

RE: .16 Nitro Buggy What Parts?
So I got 2 sets of DogBones, 3 Spur Gears, and 1 Clutch Shoe. Anything else to stock up on? Is Exceed-Rc good about getting there orders right? They're not the ones everyone's talking about are they? Mixing up orders and shipping out wrong part numbers?

Any one using a Lipo as a receiver battery? I was going to cut out the switch and have it wired direct. Even with a fail safe, I'm affraid of the switch going bad or turning off by itself and having a run a way. What do you guys think?

Hahaha As many times as I've been on Nitrorcx.com, I never seen that page. Hahaha Thanks for the post. I think it's funny that the motor is half the cost of the whole buggy. To be honest, wouldn't it be better (if you had the money) to just buy another buggy? At least that way you have plenty of spares. I think when it comes to that point that's what I'll do. I'll use the old one for parts and run the new one.

It's the same way with computer printers. The price of ink cartridges is about half the cost of a brand new printer.

RE: .16 Nitro Buggy What Parts?
Was getting a parts order together for a new sh .18 engine and I noticed that on the exploded view of the .16 motor there wasn't a "clutch bell" part number 2045. After looking at my .16, I didnt see it either. On the exploded view of the engine, Part # R010 is the "small fly wheel" right after that is the "big fly wheel" then the clutch shoes and main gear. So what's the 2045 for? It looks like it's ment for the 2-speed buggys. Can someone please clear this up for me. Thanks, Joe
