burnt orange

OK this time my son really broke something. He hit a curb pretty hard with the front end and know the front wheels lockup. when you turn the front wheels when the truck is in the air they turn but when the truck in on the ground they roll alittle and then they lock up. the back wheels seem to turn ok. Now I noticed that when the truck is off the ground and I turn the back wheels the front wheel do not spin. Does this mean the four wheel drive is broken? The truck is a Exceed Dynamite 1/10. If anyone has any suggestion please help.

I just noticed that the black cup at the back of the drive shaft is lose it moves back and forth could this be the problem?
