Default Modified OUTLAW

I was bored two weeks ago and decided to build an outlaw that could sport a bigger motor and gas tank as well as having plenty of room in the FUSE to hold everything. I also put skids on the wing tips and belly. Not sure how it will fly but so far its about as light as my stock Outlaw, maybe just a little heavier compared to the 40 LA I have in my other one. I'm using a TT pro 46 with a 8 x 9 APC prop. Will see....I hope it flies like my other one because I love it. I just want it to be faster, the 40 LA is old and under powered.

Default Trying it AGAIN!!

well the first one wouldn't balance with 46 without being a brick so I sold it to a guy for $35 bucks early this year.

Last week I tried it again. I started the airplane and finished it yesterday morning and test flew it last night. Flies great. I lost the flat spin by extending the rudder (bummer) but I was able to put a TT pro 46 on it. CG is 9.5 from LE. The only thing that's still outlaw is ribs and angles of the the wing. Everything else is different. center section is 4" wider, wingtips were extended and angled up (just playing around to see what it would do) a few degrees and ailerons extended as well. The entire wing is practically sheeted. I put landing gear on for testing only but after flying it I kind of like the ability to take off and touch and goes with it. Flies, and tracks very well. I thought inverted flight wouldn't be that good with the way I did the wing tips but no problems at all. Rolls are not very axial but are different. I'm getting used to how it flies for now before I start playing with speed on it. Last flight I started having engine problems so i had to stop for the day. Temp outside was over 90+ degrees, after the engine had run for a few minutes it would start sagging. What's a good speed prop for a pro 46 with stock muffler?

Pro 46
20% nitro fuel
10 x 6 prop
total weight is under 60 ounces
