This may have been just under 200 (small break in prop and rich) but we know the speeds from many years of practice. The best way, is to have a pylon course set up and have helpers at each pylon station, we will go around the course and conform we are rounding the pylons from the helpers with two way radios or flags and get the times. (300 feet in 1 second = 200 MPH On a good day with all working well we do 590.5+ feet in 1.8 seconds that’s Pylon 3 to 1, We also have radar guns but these are unreliable and can only be accurate when flying directly at the radar gun, and that’s certainly not too bright of an idea if you are holding it.
