Default I Have A Diamond Dust What Next?

I have a DDUST now that I love to fly....I want to go faster...I have a 46fx with a tuned pipe with a 9x8 prop. Ive read in other threads about the drag on a DDUST and its true you can hear the covering as it passes by..... Debating wether or not to sell it and get a whiplash or even a magnumn with a jet 50....whats out there any suggestions?

what about a plane thats as fast as a Dust, can do all a Dust does, but can prop hang, tail touch when you get it right, flat spin, blender ect

Go get a Outlaw

get a hotter engine. Those sport 46 FX are good engines but you have no idea what fast is until to slap on a hot engine.

I ran a 46 FX on my first dust until my MVVS GRRT came in. The speed increase is huge! Its like going from a Ford Escort to a F1 race car. No more hairy take offs where you watch the plane gain speed. It tops out very fast.

I would go that route unless you want a plane that does tricks...then go for the other option.

http://www.ecubedrc.com/kits.htm for the Outlaw

i agree you need a good engone, my Dust is on a MVVS 40 PSQ and it NEEDS! more, the 36 powered Outlaw can easily keep pace with it.

for me the Outlaw is too planes in one. low rates its damn quick, high rates it's a nutter. however on a really hot engine it wouldn't be as good as a Dust or Magnum for speed. it is a funfly after all.

Default RE: I Have A Diamond Dust What Next?

I saw A outlaw for the first time at the PROBRO fly-in at Nashville. He has a webra 32 and he is that actual designer of the outlaw. Man that bird is wicked.....I plan to purchase one but will keep the DDUST and put a stronger engine on it..

Thanks Guys for the input
