Default screamin demon question

Do most of you folks do the fiber glassing on the bottom or is it ok to leave this step out? Its just always a pain to get the covering tp stick to it.

I don't fiberglass the bottom...but I do some fiberglassing on top around either the winglets or the tail fins and those areas get epoxy paint.
If you keep this plane light enough it will land in calm air about 15 mph or less, which is pretty gentle.

When I need to put covering over glass, I use a very thin coat of Balsarite Film. Make sure it's the one for film and not for fabric, it's much thinner. The covering will stick now!

+1 for using Balsarite! Except I can't get it anymore here in Canada.

I think it's the same thing for the Socialist state of Kalifornia. Comrade, make a shopping list of the "good stuff" that can't be purchased in your area, and if you or a buddy are going south of the border you know what you need to do. Nevada is my go to state.

If you wipe the FG down real good with MEK or acetone, iron on film ought to stick to it..?
The biggest trouble I've had is air bubbles...got to keep the heat down and use a sock over the iron.
