kee-Cat best prop
Hello, I am new to fast planes and just put together an inexpensive pusher ARF called Kee-Cat it is a 60 size and I installed a new Super Tiger 75 onit. I picked a few props up to give a try Zinger 12x6 and 12x8 also got a Graupner 11x8, what prop should I start with, Thanks for the advice.

Thanks for all the help, if weather is nice this weekend I'm going to take it up, I broke the engine in today so if all goes well will make it to the field, will give flight report if I fly,

Regards the heat shield - doubt you need once it is moving and there is air flow. But it looks cool and the work is done so leave 'er there. You probably don't want to static run a pusher long enough for the radiant heat to be an issue.

Thanks, when i broke the engine in I used a standard 12x6 prop to move air over the head to help with heat. Looks like good weather here this weekwend will post how it does.

RE: kee-Cat best prop
Had time to fly it this past weekend, well I have to say not as fast as I was wishing, but it's a big a plane so it will only go so fast, no radar gun but was not going much over 80mph if I had to guess. The up side is it flew great and I didn't crash it.
