Whiplash entered in a spin and never recovered..Still thumbs up!
Greetings,
I was almost at full throtle when I tried a snap roll with my whiplash. The plane snapped violently and comes to a spin. It never recovered! I tried everything but nothing worked! I just watched the plane drop in a gentle spin to the ground..
And quess what?? The damn thing is still intact!!! I still don't understand what
went wrong...Oh well this is not a plane after all.. A close inspection revealed
nothing wrong with the servos or wathever.
I thing it simply stalled and entered a vicious spin...
What do you thing guys??
Serge

a snap roll on a whiplash goes against the laws of physics[:@] theres no rudders to bring it out, we have a guy nearby that flatspins his whiplash just for the hell of it, and he cant recover either, next time try to cut throttle, but if you dont get it out, it will probably always pancake in with no damage, its like in autorotation [8D]
glad its ok, have fun..

Maybe serge should post a full size picture of his avatar for us all to have a better idea of the aircraft in the picture. I did say aircraft right?

If you can get it to spin so voilently it goes into a high speed stall... airspeed will bleed off very fast... as the plane is in stalled condition the vertical fins are fully embedded in the turbulent air from the stalled wing... and it is actually very likely to not recover...
Something like a Whip can flip around VERY violently on just elevon inputs... don't need a rudder for that.
Something like that may not be a "true snap-roll" or "true spin", at least not what the majority of the crowd perceives as a snap roll or spin... but it looks like it...
But then again, when most people THINK they are spinning their plane, they are not doing so in reality...
