Neither one of those engines are going to get you going really fast. The best potential will be seen with a Moki 2.10 or a YS 170 or 175.

The 160 develops at most, half the power of the DLE60. But what you want is rpm and neithr will give you that. A better choice is the SAP180 on pipe. That engine develops it's HP at higher revs than most other gas engines. If the model is around 10-11 pounds, put a 16-13 on it and run premium auto gas. You should get around 9200 rpm.

If the model is much heavier, the engine may not be the right fit. We ran mokis on pipes many years ago and ran 16-14, 16-16 apc at around 9500 on larger racers that weighed up to 16 lbs with around1250 squares. Racers were just slightly larger than 2meters. Glow fuel got expensive tho at 20 ozs of 25% per heat

Thanks for the feed back,I made a little table to camper all suggested engines and as far as I can tell yes the OS has the less Hp. And is not the smallest on cc and is up there on the RPM. So this makes it more confusing. What should I look for when deciding on an engine for a go fast plane?? Also I have read that it is kind of difficult to get parts for the Moki is that correct?? I didn't want the fastest since I don't race I just want something fast to have fun and look good.Motor
PH RPM CC
DLE 60 5.5 8,500. 61cc
OS 160fx 3.7 9,000 26cc
Moki 210. 4.7 10,000 22.6cc
YS 170 D 8,800 27.95cc
