Default For you guys who like fast deltas

Just the maiden flight no real speed, but this thing has real potential to haul. You have to watch the whole video to pick up on a couple of burst of speed, and he reall didn't jump on it at all.

He is quite a craftsman..!
I think his "game" would improve in general if he ever got his hands on a Screamin' Demon kit.
I think it would reveal some basic truths to him about what is "KILL" and what is "OVER KILL".

Indeed.
It is interesting that even with all that structure the plane came out at 2 lbs 12 oz, about 8 oz of that is the battery.

It would be interesting to see it flown with a package that can turn a 6.5 x 7 about 30,000 in the air.

The setup he has in it may be capable of doing it if your not to worried about pushing the envelope a bit. The motor should be able to produce about 2.5 hp for short periods without blowing up I would say it could do about 34K rpm spinning a 6 inch prop. That motor could spin a 5.25X 6.25 in the high 30s to low 40s k range on a five cell. With the 6X3 he had on there it should be able to have it peak about 36-37,000 rpm with out even getting close to any limits.
The motor is rated at 11000 watts which means you can take it to around 1800-1900 watts no problem if you can keep it cool enough.
