Default Q-40 Carbon Fiber Prop Question

I bought a new in package APC Q-40 7.4x8.1 prop off of E-bay.
After I got it I noticed that the prop has a 1 3/4 diameter by
3/16 deep relief on the back side of the hub. This was done by APC I'm sure.
I guess this is to clear the spinner back plate.
Q-40 props with out this relief are .530 hub thickness, this one with the
relief is .375 hub thickness
My question is, Is this prop safe to use, I would guess that It is but I would
like some other peoples advice.
This prop would be used on a Mvvs Grrt or OS 46 VXDF turning 22-23 K
Thank you in advance for any and all replies.
Roger
PS.
I am always looking for q-40 carbon props in the 7.4 dia x 8.0- 8.25 pitch.
If you have any for sale please let me know

APC sold a prop that had the blade "cuffs" extend behind the rear edge of the hub.
I don't recall what the hub thickness was.
Call APC Monday and they ought to know if your prop is standard or modified.
