This forum is a great place to unload DF engines.. full of foolish addicts with more engines than brains.

Speaking of which.. can't wait until it gets here . Should drop right into the Demon .65.

I kind of figured you would be the one to snap up that OPS.

It's a sickness. Every time I justify it by saying to myself I'll toss a couple of other engines on eBay. So far that has happened precisely.. zero times. My wife has reminded me of that fact more than once. No sense of humor.

We should set up a swap agreement. I have an OPS, you have a OS .91 DF. We trade and admire each other's for a year then mail them back. It would be cheaper.

You could sign out the engines from a common pool, sleep with them and dream of the incredible aircraft you'll build someday, then when you get distracted by something else cool and shiny, just send it back. It would be like having a therapy dog for convalescence - all the pleasure without the commitment of ownership. No more guilt pains caused by foolish impulsive engine purchases. Mind you, no more fun as a direct result of foolish impulsive engine purchases either.

What to do..

rear exhaust engines seem to be the loneliest engines in the hobby today...ducted fan engines are redheaded stepchildren for most modelers...i never could get excited about ducted fan planes..but then had to polish hundreds of byrons ducted fan tuned pipes....they were PITA to polish. fun sport speed planes are fun but truly we don't put that many flights on the fun speed planes....

Hi Dave,

Are you willing to part with the engine? If so what is the condition?

Thanks
