Irvine .53 way faster than a Jett Fire .50
I just had to share the moment. We had a swap meet at the field today, and one of the older guys had a slightly used Whiplash for sale, and a slightly used Irvine .53 sitting next to it. I said that thing will do 200 mph with a Jett Fire .50 on the nose. The owner insisted that it'll do better with the Irvine on the nose. I tried to explain pitch and rpm and speed......finally just had to walk away. After all, what did I know, he's been in the hobby for over 30 yrs.

RE: Irvine .53 way faster than a Jett Fire .50
Oh man! I bought a Jett-50 (SJ) and I have an Irvine-53 sitting right there on my bench! And I went and put it in a SIG SE... What was I thinking?
I did fly my Patriot with both an ASP-46 and an Irvine-53 prior to gettin' the Jett-50. The ASP is obviously like an OS-46 but the Irvine was surprisingly fast on there (9x8) for what it was-
I am painting my Whip right now, better get out to the shed for another "light" coat!
YS-45 and shaker cans
vs
Rossi-65/81 and Airbrush.... Hmmm-

Yup Rustoleum it is!
Some red some yellow, maybe a little silver...
As soon as I get a couple STRONG servos I am in business!
Hope all is well-
