Another silly question?
I read recently about various contra rotating prop systems used on very fast pylon racers ( i think) .
Has any out there know of or have expreience of or have any info about contrarotating props??
Oh P.S. associated with this Im also looking for any clues about variable pitch systems.......

never too young to try new things!! imagine if einstien's dad told him to for get science!! or bell's dad told him to forget electronics!!!
i do understand that dad prolly doesn't want to finance this but don't they have metal shop where you go to school? would make a great project and i bet it would get an "a" too!!
no metal shop? how about at the local community college? they usually have metal classes and you could take a course over the summer and build it there!
just a thought...

RE: contrarotating props
EXACTLY! Think of all the property damage that would cause! all the death and destruction that could be accomplished just by using a metal prop! i could go on a rampage! i could have so much fun!...
just kidding. a metal adjustable hub would be just fine. i can get blade halfs any time i want, but i need a hub to put them on. he never suggested using a metal prop. he suggested metal shop because adjustable prop hubs are hard to come by and extremely expensive.
