I always thought that it was a cool little plane, but never bought the plans. I am suprised that there are not more out there, but then again, this is the day of microwave (arf) aviation.

ARFs are ok. I got my start with one. But I grew tired of spending more money than nesassary so I moved to foamie combat planes. Cheap and tougher than a third grade bully. Once I learned to fly and apreciate a nice plane I started to build from plans. Right now I am finishing a .25 size Brown B2 vintage racer from some old AMA plans. I had planned to build an SR-71 from RCM's plans next but a few guys in my club asked if I would help them build a Cessna Agwagon. On my "to build list" are the SR-71, another F-20, the Lyka Jet (need to make a better foam cutter first), F2G pylon racing corsair, and a Tiger Moth. Hows that for a list?

I remember reading the article in the mag on the Lyka Jet. Looked pretty cool. Let us know how it comes out.

It will probabally be a little while before I do the Lyka. If you read the above I have a few things on my to build plate. That and my wife just gave birth to #2 ,this one is a girl. It may be next year before I get to it. I would be interested if anyone has seen or flown one to hear what it was like, it may move it up the list a little.

I just remember that it went like 180 or something. I would like to build one but my full scale airplane is requiring all of my time right now.

[X(] 180 Really! This may move up the pile a little. The Blackbird just looked cool but was not a real speedster. I may have to get out the hotwire and start cutting some foam and forget about cutting balsa. Just get down to scaring the locals right away.

I was thinking of using an MVVS .45 with retracts.

How should that go?
