Patriot/Stock Ailerons or Cut em' Short
Can yall give me the pros and cons of shortening the ailerons. My other Pat had em' stock and flutter was not a problem.In fact had no problem at all.
Just getting the idea of shortening them on the next one.
If I do where on the wing do I put the ailerons and how long should they be.Naturally I'll have to go to two servos...

I just finished a Patriot and I would leave them just the way they are. With full length strip ailerons you are bound to have a more responsive roll rate so why change it. Also the single servo in the center of the wing hooked up to the torqe rods works great and is super simple.Remember the KISS principle.

I like the KISS mode and the other Patriot worked just fine the way it was (stock). I was just wondering if there was a big enough advantage to make the change.
