The Jett-50 or 60LX would do the trick.... A Rossi-60 would be WAY to heavy for the Scatcat.

Thanks for mention wieght i was starting to look at a rosi .67 with tuned pipe but it will be way to heavy. the one i see fly everyday has an .46 FX and the cg is so nose heavy that every singl time it lands it cartwheels. [sm=72_72.gif] There tough little planes that can take on hell of a beating.

The Jett will work well as it does idle.

E Gads, I can't believe you even dared to mention a Evo in this forum. HAHAHAHAHA

HALE Rossi!!
They're heavy, the carbs are hard to set, they don't like nitro, etc, etc,
I've got 3 of them and love'em. Now Jett, makes a great engine, but all 3 of my pasta rockets didn't cost what 1 Jett will.

I know this is a little off subject, but it's Sunday morn, and I haven't had coffee yet.[>:]

Flying freak, here's a link to a RC'er who used sport engines in his Scat Cat:[link=http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://mypage.yhti.net/~dmcdnld/scatcat.jpg&imgrefurl=http://mypage.yhti.net/~dmcdnld/scatcat.htm&h=245&w=430&sz=30&hl=en&start=14&tbnid=lGsaHPJzA4F8hM:&tbnh=72&tbnw=126&prev=/images%3Fq%3DScat%2BCat%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26l r%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26sa%3DG]Scat Cat[/link]

bozilla Hate to take advantage of a grown man? Bet your Rossi 60 can not keep up with my little Jett 35 which turns a 8.75 X 9 a honest 18,800k and then unwinds like crazy in the air. There is flat no substitution for cubic inches and quality.

My old ScatCat had a Webra .32 and pipe...A nice combo as it was very light. I could out-turn and keep up with my buddies .40 'Cat. It's a little plane.

My Scat Cat was fast with a OS40VF Piped, cowled with race wheels and wing cut down 4 inches. Had aileron flutter issues, the ailerons need to be stiff if using a single servo with torque rods.
