Default Please Help, making fiberglass props

I wasn't sure which forum to post this in, so I figured that this one would be the best choice. Has anyone here made their props from fiberglass? I have been reading about it in Harry Higley's Master Modeling, and have a few questions. First is where do you obtain the iron filled epoxy, and also the fiberglass rovings. Also how strong are they, would it be safe to make a 20" prop if done properly? Thanks in advance.
