anybody have trouble with pipe blowing off engine. my jett fire 60 blows it off easily. had two good flight of 30 seconds ,very fast and then lose pipe. do youwire it on around engine?

Grabs the header and with a screwdriver bends toward out the tube walls. Make the same thing with the header.
They have to look like a flower.
This way the silicone coupling will have something to grab.
I have done this several time with EXELLENT results.

Thanks for the input. Your english is very understandable. The problem i have is at the header-engine adapter joint. It is a rubber o ring that fits inside a groove in the header pipe. The other joint is welded together. I was thinking of using wire around the head and around the pipe to tie them together.

Ok, I undertand what system you have
Can you atach your header like the picture with a spring???
You have to be carefull if you use a wire around the head and around the pipe to tie them together because this may vibrate and make noise RF interference.
Maybe the wire thas goes around the pipe you can slip a silicone fuel tubing and this way you eliminate metal to metal contac.

Pipe support
Both the short "Magic Muffler" or a full length type need support of the rear of the pipe. Dave Brown Products makes an inexpensive pipe support to help secure it to the airframe.

Rear Pipe Mount
I never could keep a pipe on a plane...so I devised this home-made one. It's not real fancy...but it's 100% bullet proof.
Just slip the pipe onto the header...then capture the rear with the mount when you slide the wing on....It can't go anywhere.
A couple scraps of plywood, and a piece of hard-wood. The pipe blocks the hard-wood, and it's "pretty" streamlined.
That's a .40 size Cermark F-20, with a Rossi .45 long-pipe.
( yes, it "hauls")
The front is held on with a spring...just like Isaac F's pic....and it doesn't cause any "noise".
