best prop for os surpass 70
i have a Super Sporster mkII 40 with a os 70 ; i try a master airscrew 12x8 but with it my engine run 11,000 rpm on the ground.
and I cannot put one 13 inches because my landing g is too low. Does a buddy of my club advise me a APC 12x9 wide what you thinks about it?
according to councils' that J had, my engine do not have to turn more than 9500

Sort of the wrong area for this question. An FS 70 on a Super Sportster is definitely not an extreme speed plane but anyways ...
Try a three blade. The general rule for three blades is down an inch in diameter from 2 blade, or up 2" of pitch. 4 strokes love 'em, btw, plus you get the ground clearance you need and as an added bonus they look spiffy. Master Aircrew makes a 12x8 three blade that would be prefect for your engine. I've used it on a Saito 65 myself with very good results.
I currently run a 10x4 Grish three blade on an old OS FS40 Surpass / Kadet Seniorita as well as a 13x8 MAS on my Enya 90 FS / 4*60. I've been thinking of trying an 8x6 on an OS20FS I have mounted on my Lazy Bee.
