Jett FIRE-50 or FIRE BSE-50, pretunded pipe setup from Dub, Bubble-Jett 6oz 'polecat' fuel tank, APC 9x8

Order from the website, and note that it is going in a diamond dust. You will receive the engine setup and ready to run, along with the RPM setting of the pipe and suggested props. No messing with it at all. Even the idle is pre-set

That will get you moving

Sounds like a winner to me. I have a sportjet .50 and am really happy with it. I think I will try that first before getting another engine. Will a side axhaust engine work well on a Diamond Dust?

Not with a quiet tuned pipe it won't... I wanted to install the West .50 from my Magnum... but the pipe goes straight into the right vertical stabiliser... will have make a very narrow or S-shaped header...

An engine with a normal muffler will work.

But I think rear exhaust is the way to go with this thing.

It won't be the "best" Are you looking for the "best", or just "well"? [:-]

with the sport 40 mvvs with a 77 mvvs carb on 30% im getting about 175 to 180 im swinging a 8x8 prop it is taching 20800 on the ground loaded.if you use such a motor please use good servo's IE JR4735,4721,8611 i stay with JR servos they work the best for me, i used to use hijunk(hitech)but after 3 dust crashes due to servo's, jeff gilbert said here start using real servo's and ive never been back well till next time
