Default Shrike 10

Well my Shrike had its maiden today, whoa quick but fun, i am adicted now and i dont even think it is fast enough yet but it sure chews up real estate quick.
Got a couple of tourque issues to sort out, throttle is control pitch at the moment, need some down thrust and a constant ability to roll to the left, just a ***** trying to take the engine[:@] oh well happy days

My little Shrike is out of action for a bit. I've been using a piped Webra 20 in mine and yesterday the crank broke in mid flight. The fracture is in the hollowed out area under the carb barrel so I guess that would be a weakspot. 18.2k with a Kyosho 7x6 on the ground must have been a bit too much. Hopefully there's still parts around somewhere for this engine.

For what it's worth, I was getting over 20K with a 7x6 Taipan using a Magnum .28XLA, no carb (wide open, bladder tank), retimed crank, no muffler/pipe. No broken cranks, either, ran it about a dozen times in that configuration before I converted it for Speed Limit Combat (75mph). Tough little engines (and cheap!).
