fourstroke speed?
How fast would a fourstroke powered plane go? There are sound emission restrictions on our field, and I don't want to go electric. I want to spend about 400 euro on a plane.

RE: fourstroke speed?
400 []
A half decent engine like the YS 110 is going to cost around 350... that leaves 50 for the plane... you can get a servo for that...
Even the cheapest four strokes around are still going to cost around 150... that leaves 250 for the plane... still not enough...
Start saving money...

RE: fourstroke speed?
Of course you don't.
But the Yamada's are simple the most powerful four strokes available... power in a small package... that's what you need for speed. They come at a price though...
Do you have a engine already?

RE: fourstroke speed?
this combo is in the noise restrictions you call
my whip
with quiet engine
fast enough ?

by the way the four stroke are not so "quiet" regarding 2 strokes (with standard mufflers) the noise is different, it seems to be quieter, but is not
