Default magnum balancing question

Has anyone added lead to the end of the opposite wing to balance the tuned pipe on the other side? The directions say nothing about it, but if you pick the plane up by the nose and tail it drops instantly on the pipe side. Any ideas??

Default magnum balancing question

Hi,
I have been flying my Mag + wxl and pipe since last March. I have add no weight for lateral balance, it seems fine barrel rolls are very axial, no wing drops at low speed or take off. So dont worry too much, it will maybe just need a click on the trim but thats all.
I fly in the desert, so had to make a skid pan all the way along the bottom of fuse out of litho plate, even with that bit of extra weight it faaaaassst as !!!!
Good luck.

Default magnum lateral balance

I decided to add some lead to the opposite wing and I didn't have even one click of adjustment on the ailerons!!
I also was way too tail heavy which allowed me to realize how tough this plane is (TWICE!) Now if I can only find an indestructable prop.

Hi,
Well pleased to hear that she flew ok....
If the prop is set at the start of compression stroke, so it sits on the horizontal axis when the engines cut for landing you will save the props, in 5 months I have lost 1 prop and that was pilot error.
