PATRIOT downed
My most appreciated model was lost today at 1400 hrs GMT +1.
It served in my fleet for +2years.
Ignoring one too many of glitches.[:@]
On a slightly banked very low high speed by pass, it suddenly rolled further more and hit the ground with wingtip.
No more Patriot this summer. [&o] But, I have another kit laying around!! so this autumns evenings are secured
Quoting Arnie feels right: " I'll be back!"

RE: PATRIOT downed
Thank you Pete for your condoleances!
Well, usually after a few days I take another look at the remains . Often I begins to repair.
But after just a few hours I'm not feeling for it.
Yes, I loved it (and so did the spectators)

Sorry to see that bird go.
Very nice color scheme......sorta reminds me of a F-100 with test/chase color pattern
Can you direct me to some info on the landing gear?? Those look pretty nice.

I have the eurokit struts down here I bought on ebay a couple of years ago. I never knew what they were or where they came from, I just liked the way they looked and operated.
Sorry about your patriot, but can you tell me where I can find the eurokit gear and struts?
I've owned over 10 patriots and currently have three RTF, they are simply spectacular flying airplanes.
Good luck with your next speed plane. Your pictures are making us ill!
