Default Magnum R modifications

Could anyone who has 'assembled' one of these give some advice on any recommended modifications.

Have you built it using entirely stock parts as per the instructions? I have just received mine and want to get it right!

Thanks

re-moulding the tank to make it lay flat ain't a bad idea.
