I don't have many more details........ a buddy sent me the web link.

from the looks of it, the cockpit area damage and wing damage...... that sucker might be a write-off.

No idea philly. I just posted the link someone gave me. The story and photos may be somewhat dated.

However, from the damage, location of the aircraft, the maintenance equipment in the area, and since we didnt all see on the news about "hundreds escape near death', it looks like it did apparently happen while the aircraft was empty and being serviced. So it seems plausable enough.

NTSB keep records of stuff like this. Might be able to pull the tail number from the photos and backtrack it.

This is an exibition, not a competition....please...... no wagering
