Default YEEHAW! Wonder screamer!

Hey all! Finished my wonder with some mods I've seen here and tested today. Some issues to work out yet. Set up with norvel.25 and 7x8 apc, all up weight dry 2#5oz. Other than dirty needle valve some problems I know how to fix are not enough down thrust, cg needs to come forward a 1/8 inch and a "little" less throw on elevator. What I am not sure of are my wing tips or vertical stabs seem to make a gawdawfull noise at high speed. It is not flutter, yet. At 3/4 throttle and up it sounds like a loud whooosshhing wistle and then it gets squirrely, darting side to side or up then sideways. My control surface hinge gaps are sealed and using regular sized servos with short no slop linkages. I think it's my wing tips doing something to airflow at higher speeds. I just used flat balsa planks about 1 inch thicker than aifoil, extending 1 inch forward and about 2 inches past aileron. Is this maybe the problem? Anyway it is very fast for it's size and great fun!

did you add tri-angle stock to vert-stab~to ~horz-stab joint?
me thinks they be a moving an twisting

wing straight and tru?
i had warp in one and aileron trim changed with velocity

Wonder was not designed for extreme speed, but they are a Hoot

One Wonder, I built has 2 OS .15FP on the wing

Yup, triangle stock on verts. to horizontal and horizontal to fuse. While searching I think saw your wonder twin, looks awsome. Anyway after searching I decided on the wonder because of price, building and launching ease, and reasonably fast for newer speed freak. I was suprised at the speed really, maybe because it is so small. With norvel 25 spinning the 7x8 how fast might I be a goin? I did thin the wing a tiny bit but I dont know if it made a difference. It looked wierd when it juked left then right, almost like a side slip? Although I don't fly combat, I have watched several matches or heats and they aint got nothin' on me(except survivability). I saw a wiplash recently flying with some combat planes and this thing smoked em bad! So I got the bug and here we go!
