Default New addition--SU- 27 Check it out!!!

Just finished up last night and ready to try out this weekend. It has a Jett 90 in it so it should pass up my patriot and f-20. Can't wait to find out.

YOWZA!!!

WOW, that came out great! Let us know how she likes the Jett 90. Has the motor been broken in yet? It's gonna haul that around the skies real nice!

Great job!

It is a kit from AKM Models. took about eight months to build. The kit is designed for retracts but I went with fixed gear. (ought of ease and cost) It was a challenging build definelty, should not be one of the first couple builds. I allso permantly connected the wings and fiberglassed it, to many curves for me to monokote. The great planes Planer was an invaluable tool, cut the sanding and carving time down by 80%.

AKM Models also has the "video" disc with it, correct? I heard this was a big help.

Regardless, I'm sure that was one helluva plane to build, so my hat is off to ya for a fine job!

Beauty of a plane!!!

I have a kit as well. Planned for building over the fall/winter. I might just expedite those plans

Which retracts did you install ? Spring Air or others?

If you could, please email me a few photos (preferably one with you in it too).
Perhaps some comments, prop selection, etc...
I will include them in the Jett Hall of Fame page

Thanks

Bob Brassell

You need to put your pics up on their webside, truly an exemplary build. Nice job.
I downloaded the manual and that is an INTENSE build!! Holy Smokes! That thing is a work of art.

What is the all up weight, seems like ALOT of balsa.

Some more pics. The bottom of the horiz. stabs have some white sprayed on already. The bottom will be white and the top Dove grey and the whole airplane dullcoated. The pilot is painted and ready.

EDIT: It has an OS91FX with Pitts muffler and pneumatic retracts.
