Bonjourno Alessandro!

The Cobra looks great... What engine is in there? Looks like a SuperTigre-

Keep us posted and welcome to RCU!

Yes, you are right: the engine is in fact a supertigre G34-H Aero. It's a little big rather than the specs, but I want brake the sound barrier at my local field

I've also added the robart palstic strut to improve a military look.
now I' considering for different paint scheme: navy (white and gray or blue and orange) and usaf (F5 style or F16 style)

I recently found the Kobra while searching for a new home for a .25 engine I have. Alessandro, can you grade the difficulty of the kit? Also, it would be great to know if the wing is easily removable, or designed to be permanently attached. Looking forward to more pictures as you progress - looks great so far!

Leif,

I'll just jump in here in regards to the Kobra....

The wing is designed to be removed, mounted with two nylon bolts at the rear and a wood dowel at the front.

In terms of construction, when I built mine I didn't find anything too difficult to it. It is an older kit, so don't expect a lot of the interlocking pieces and laser cutting that the new kits come with.

I built the Kobra, sold it to a friend who covered and flew it. He absolutely loved the plane and it flew well even with just a basic OS 25 FP on it.

Hopefully yours won't end up like his..... midair collision with my Ultra Sport 60 had these results.... Ultra Sport landed with no damage....

Thanks for the info Leadfoot, and I'm sorry about that Kobra even it it isn't yours anymore, but glad your Ultra Sport didn't get damaged!

I went ahead and ordered the kit a few days ago, and I'm looking forward to the build. I know it's old-fashioned, but it will be a good experience I'm sure! Will put an ASP 25 in it for starters.
