Default SAS DELTA ????

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know what a SAS Delta is ? any pics or links to pics ? or if anyone has one how does it fly ? its just that ive been offered one for £65 which seems like a bargin as it has a OS FX 46.................... but havent had a chance to see it yet......

42" Delta by SAS

I just did a search and couldnt find anything on it. I found a bunch of Delta Force pages and some on Delta wings but nothing RC. Got me curious as to how it looks like also

Thx FlooredCOBRA for looking, i couldnt find anything either..............

Well im gonna go pick it up today as for £65 its worth it just for the OS46FX as i have a few planes if this ones no good that would like that motor

I'll take a pic and post it when i get home

OK well here it is, Engine looks in great nick airframe looks well flown but with everything in it its still a bargin , ill spend a bit of time sprucing it up before i fly it...........

Just an update on this......... ive recovered this and looks much better with better visibility................

What would u guys recommened for the prop size ? im running an 11 x 6 at the mo and flys fine (fast) but i want more speed

Would a 10 x 6 be ok for this ? its running a OS 46 FX.............

Looks like a fairly clean airplane. 11" dia is way too big if you want to go fast.

Try 9x7, 9x8 next time out.

Looks like a good deal that you made[8D]! You should see a dramatic improvement with a 9x8 APC. Post some photos of the "make over"! Don't forget to richen the needle way up with the higher revving prop and gradually sneak up on the optimum needle setting.

Just make sure you have enough "oomph" on hand launch with a 9x8 APC - If you are unsure try a 10x7 first then a 9x8 ....

Also, the Tower muffler will get you some extra RPM's for $15- (which is what? 3 Euros )

When I was in Italy a can of coke was like 3 Euros ($5- or something--)
