I have seen several of these fly and they are impressive but there is one thing they all have in common. They have the glide ratio that of an elephant. Once that engine quits, you better be on final approach or you can kiss it goodbye.

I saw this one guy coming across the field up a couple hundred feet wide open. He shut it off for which any normal plane would be fine but not this thing. As fast as he was movin he should have made it with no trouble. He banked it around and it just fell. With the thin wings, weight, wing loading and all. Its amazing it flys at all.

He has now flown it regularly for over a year and never shuts it off until he is on final approach.

With the C of G moved rearward about 10mm, the glide ratio is significantly improved.
Cheers

I second that, with the cg further back, the glide is improved.

Speed never hurts... you don't need torque.

It will fly fine on ball raced standard servo's. Bushed servo's are not recommended, because they are rarely completely slop free, and it they are slop free, they usually don't stay that way.

30 N/cm of torque is enough for planes like these.
