It is a good plane. They do not make them anymore BUT not worth more than $200.

Default Cermark F-16....here we go again...

I got mine through a horse trade from my bud "Airgar"....who basically almost gave it to me. He had it up with an O.S. .91FX 2-stroke....( 90 size power, in a .60 case ) ...wrong answer....although I love O.S. engines ( oldies ) it was such a dog....about 80-90 MPH ( no kidding ) it was an embarrasment as a so called " prop-jet".

Any-hoo, I stuck a O.S. 1.08 FSR motor in it...( about half-again the suds of the wimpy .91 FX ) and it's startin' to crank. I had to replace the "wimpy" supplied nose-gear retract with a solid gear set-up, because the gear was like a wet noodle, and the plane could not be taxied with the extra weight of the 1.08.

The " El-Cheapo" main gear is a constant problem....and will be replaced with the Robart HD gear. The "air-scoop" acts like a parachute...(a flat blockage) and is buffeting now at about 120 MPH. The "suplementary" fiber-glass air scoop, that was sent out as a replacement for the plastic one....is warped, and of such poor quality.....that even I (the master of..I'll make it fit ) cant work with it....

All that being said...If you put enough suds in it, and remedy all the quirks....it's a pretty plane, real stable (pattern-like),and flies on rails....
