hi all i built a kobra with the f16 tail it flies great my question is with rudder input it rolls the oposite way is this due to the slanted rudder line or something else? thanks.

Hi......

Rolling the opposite direction. This is cause by too little dihedral in the wing. Really has little to do with the rudder and fin planform.

Too much dihedral, and the plane rolls in the direction of rudder throw. (such as with a trainer)

Well balanced dihedral......the rudder does little more than yaw the airplane around the CG (good aerobatic plane)

Too little, and the plane rolls opposite the direction of rudder throw.

On older pattern aircraft, folks would on occation actually saw the wing in half and re-set the dihedral if there was a bad roll couple.

I would not consider doing that on the Kobra. Generally not worth the work and weight.
