Hi Neil,

no prob. If you could make a drawing (plan view) of your wing with exact measurements of wing root length, wing tip length, span.. I'll be able to carry out an accurate CG calculation...

The manual states....

...." The F-16 balance point is 6" from the cut-out in the wing." It also says.
...5 1/2" is OK, but no further than 6", and to set it with the gear down. [sm=thumbup.gif]

Thanks for that info.

What engine are you using in yours and how do you find it flys? Whats the take-off and landing like? Your opinion would be appreciated so I can know what to expect this first flight.

Yes, it is.

Anybody interested in calculating any CG regardless of wing configuration? I would start a new thread then...

Generally this will be quite useful for all future speed plane designers and scratch builders.... [8D]

Lemme know!

I had an OS 1.08 FSR in mine, a very powerful engine. You have no worries,
it flies like a pattern plane...."on rails". Very sure, and straight tracking, no bad
snapping habits. Keep a couple clicks of throttle on it till it's about 5-6 feet off
the ground....do not try to float it in like a trainer.

I traded mine off last year, it always flew good....not real fast, the air scoop
underneath makes it kinda "draggy"....but it's a good stable plane. [sm=thumbup.gif]

Sound nice, shame its not fast. Nevermind, my westfield hawk will have to be the fast one then.

Thanks
