Hehehehe..... glad you are hooked.

There is satisfaction in both 0 mph airspeed and 130 mph airspeed. I tend to like the faster stuff myself.

Welcome aboard

........WOW, what a BLAST is right....

....The first time I flew this F-20 (Rossi 45) a couple years ago, I got it up
and trimmed out real nice in about 3 laps. I said...."here, take it" to my friend
AirGar that was beside me....

....when he took the radio from me....with a puzzled look on his face, he saw
that I was literally bouncing up and down 3-4 inches from the adrenalin pumping
in my leags.....I guess I was bouncing at about 1,000 RPM....[X(]

We still get a good laugh about that one....my first speed plane scared the heck
out of this Old Man....

Dave,

How did you like the F-20 with the Rossi 45? I just picked up a DC F-20 on the weekend and will have to get a suitable engine for it. My F-20 will probably be a little on the heavier side, as it has been fully fibreglassed (see my other post for a picture of it).

Thanks,
Steve

Steve....

....it's a killer set-up, no doubt. It was turning 18,100 on the ground. [X(] But, back
when I bought mine, they were only $150. with the long pipe at Chief Air. That
was before the Euro did that"endo", and the price went way up. []

Most guys prefer the Jett .50's. I use the Rossi's just to be different, and give them
a bad time.

I have a few "back-stocked" Rossi .45's....but I would like to run a long pipe
Rossi .53....heh heh heh....it should pull a lot more prop, at a respectable RPM. [sm=thumbup.gif]

God i cant wait till i get this thing goin. I ditched the gas cars so i could start to buy better planes again. The cars are not really that much of a challenge, so the heck with them. Out of the 3 cars i own, all three cars are busted and they aint gettin fixed.lol Time to return to my first love.lol
